1. Rinse and contactless heavy dirt removal
We call this the "prewash" stage. Preparation is always key to a successful and safe car care regime, it is a contactless process to remove loose dirt, revealing defects and quickly removing road film and dirt that otherwise a wash mitt could pickup and potentially scour the surface causing micro if not deeper scratches.
2. Main wash
This stage is referred to as the contact stage, using a high quality wash pads, dedicated brushes for wheels and tyres, premium wheel and car shampoo’s with multiple high capacity buckets, one for the wheels and the other two for the bodywork, we ensure the car is cleaned and rinsed safely.
3. Decontamination
A very important stage to start to uncover the buried shine of a vehicle, leaving a good foundation surface for paint protection products to adhere to better. Not doing this stage and then laying down a premium wax or sealant would be a waste product, time and money as they would not last anyway near as long as they are designed too.
We target any bonded above surface contamination e.g. tree sap, road tar, glue, paint overspray etc by exfoliating the surface of the paint, using dedicated commercial grade chemicals first targeting the localised contaminants. Then doing an all over clay treatment for the remaining contaminants to leave a smooth and well prepared finish, especially required for the all important machine polishing stage.
4. Machine polishing
We wind back the years by restoring gloss to your vehicle, optimising its look for you to be proud of when you take it out for that trip to the club, restaurant, hotel or because you use love the drive!
Using skill and expertise, initially gained after attending the Master Detailer course trained by Kelly Harris at KDS Keltec; with the aid of a machine polisher and light abrasive liquid that also leaves a good layer of premium wax protection, we are able to enhance the paint, reduce the appearance of defects/swirls and fine marks that are noticeable on a bright/sunny day.
*Optional upgrade - For those cars that are in a particular sorry state or require it to be perfect/entering a show & shine, where a better finish is required have an additional polishing service(s)
5. Protection
Having a good layer(s) of protection is very important for the exterior health of your car, assisting in retaining its potential resale value and making your car to look clean for far far longer. It is the first barrier protecting it from the elements, assisting in dirt not being able to easily stick to the polished, glossy surface, making it easier and safer to clean (when using good wash methods as used by a professional Detailer) and to give it that all important sought after POP!

Upgrades:
An additional stage of polishing by machine*: £480 (XL £520)
This additional machine polishing stage maybe required only if the current condition of the paint requires it, which is often found with vehicles older than 3 years where poor wash methods have been used causing micro scratches and marring of the paint that is easily seen in bright/sunny days.
Dodo Juice Super Natural Hybrid Wax: £15
Half wax, half sealant, Supernatural Hybrid has a butter-like texture, and is capable of filling minor defects in paint to leave a glossy and reflective finish.
We can layer this ontop of the protective surface created with our Signature Detail as a sacrifical layer for further durability of protection as it is not just a wax but has special synthetic ingredients too.
Swissvax Best Of Show: £30
A concours car wax with 50% by volume of pure Brazilian Grade One carnauba wax suitable for any paintwork, which enhances the paintwork with a candy-like shine, otherwise found on award-winning classics only.
Selecting our premium wax upgrade will give you arguably one of the very best finishes of wax possible, especially on dark coloured vehicles.
How long do the finished results last?
This is difficult to truly answer as it depends on so many factors, such as if the car is a daily driver or not, the roads driven, how it is maintained etc. For instance if you take it to a £10 hand car wash or do not use good washing techniques then it could be a matter of weeks for it to be back in the condition before this service was performed.
How long does it take to do?
We book a whole day for this service. Also depending on the time of year, how large the vehicle is we may need to run on to a second day to finish it.
How long does the protection last?
For a well maintained car we expect the protection to last 6 or more months, especially if one of our wax upgrades is chosen to be applied.
I am selling my car is this a good service to choose?
This is a great service to done just before the time of sale or lease return to help you achieve the very best price, particularly if the paint on your vehicle is looking dull, has micro marks or scratches. We would also recommend an interior valet to be done too.
